Scammers posing as Locksmiths in the news! PDF Print E-mail

It is an unfortunate fact, people posing as locksmiths are ripping off the public!

It is embarrasing as a locksmith to have to face, but the fact is, locksmithing has been overrun with phony scammers posing as locksmiths.  I am NOT trying to be alarmist, I am telling you that it IS A PROBLEM!

This is where we will post information, links and news clips:

This will give insight on how these scammers work!  I will say one thing:  The time it takes a locksmith to get in is not really a reliable indicator of their skill or qualifications.  Sometimes I just take my time to make sure I don't cause any damage.  Generally, a qualified locksmith will take the easiest possible route, which is also usually the quickest.
